Kennett police investigate several burglaries

KENNETT, MO (KFVS) - Kennett police are investigating several burglaries in town.

Kennett Police were dispatched to an attempted burglary report on Friday. It was at McDaniel Firestone in Kennett.

As officers neared the scene, they were told that two female suspects had fled the store westbound in the alley.  Officers found one of the females, but didn't find the second.  According to police, Rebecca Morgan, 29, of Kennett, was arrested in connection with the incident.  Police say more arrests are expected.

Officers were dispatched to a burglary report on Feb. 27 at 8 a.m. at Bullock Furniture on Independence Ave. Someone had broken out a glass door of the store and took an undetermined amount of inventory.

Officers responded to a home in the 300 block of West Fifth Street on Feb. 28 at 1:25 p.m. The victim told police someone had forced open the back door of the home. The victim had not found anything missing at the time.

Officers also responded to a theft from a shed in the 2800 block of Quail Run on Feb. 28 at 2:05 p.m. The victim told police someone got into the shed behind the home and took several items.
