4 injured in single car crash near Miner

SCOTT COUNTY, MO (KFVS) -

Four people were injured in a single vehicle wreck on County Road 538 near Miner Wednesday night.

Police say they were originally told a car had crashed, then caught on fire. But when fire crews got to the scene, they discovered the wreck and no fire.

According to Mo. State Highway Patrol, the crash happened when a car driven by Justin Hardin, 21, of Bertrand failed to turn on a curve, ran off the road and hit a metal pole.

Hardin did not suffer any injuries.

There were four passengers in the car who received minor injuries.

Erika Cavasos, 18, Brandon Ervin, 19, Chevi Hardin, 18, and Natalie Looney, 17, all of Sikeston, were taken to Missouri Delta Hospital in Sikeston.
