FULTON COUNTY, KY (KFVS) -

The Fulton County Sheriff's Office is looking for information about a vehicle that was found in the Mississippi River.

The sheriff's office responded to a call from a passing tow boat on Jan. 30 of an abandoned vehicle in the Mississippi River.

The vehicle was found in the river about 14 miles Hickman, Ky. near the Tennessee state line.

The vehicle is a mid to late model 1980s Chevrolet Suburban, light blue and silver in color, two-wheel drive, 3/4 ton axles with cab lights on top.

There is a bumper sticker on the right hand side of the rear bumper that reads "My Child Is an Honor Student at Dyersburg Intermediate School. The VIN number plate, motor, transmission, dash, doors, and other parts of the vehicle were removed before it was dumped in the river.

The Fulton County Sheriff's Office is seeking any information about whom this vehicle belongs to, or the responsible parties for stripping and dumping the vehicle in the river.

All information will remain completely confidential. You can contact the FCSO at 270-236-2545, on email them at office@fultoncountysheriff.net.
