    A group on Facebook called the “[Controversial humor] National Baby Shakers League: Rise of the fallen” is creating a stir nationwide and here in the heartland.Administrators of the group say the goal is to raise awareness about shaken baby syndrome using shock value.

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, KY (KFVS) -

An unknown fluid on the road may have been a factor in a two car collision on Tuesday afternoon.

The crash happened around 3 p.m. at the intersection of Cumberland Avenue and Oregon Street.

An investigation showed that Delissia Maxie, 22 of Paducah, was driving a Buick Lesabre east bound on Cumberland Avenue when she failed to come to a complete stop at the intersection. Maxie then struck Tara Martin, 36 of Paducah, who was north bound on Oregon Street driving a Chevy Malibu.

Deputies say an unknown fluid on Cumberland Avenue that could have played a factor in the collision.

Maxie stated that she attempted to stop and pumped her brakes but was unsure if she gave herself enough time to stop.

Maxie was taken to Western Baptist with non-life threatening injuries Martin refused treatment at the scene.

Traffic was slowed for just under an hour.
