MCCRACKEN COUNTY, KY (KFVS) -
McCracken County deputies say one person was injured in a three vehicle crash on KY Dam Road (US 62) on Tuesday morning.
It happened around 6;30 a.m.
According to the sheriff's office, Marsha Harris, 59, of Paducah, was driving a Chevy Blazer westbound on KY Dam Road in the left turn lane, and turned left before hitting a Mazda truck driven by Albert Taylor, 38, of Paducah.
Deputies say Taylor was eastbound on KY Dam Road in the right lane when Harris hit his vehicle.
Taylor reportedly tried to turn left onto US 68 and deputies say he didn't yield to on-coming traffic causing the collision.
The force of the collision reportedly sent Taylor's truck towards US 68 where it struck a Chevy Silverado driven by Keith Murt, 37, of Calvert City.
Deputies say Murt was stopped westbound on US 68 at a red light.
The Reidland-Farley Fire Department had to free Taylor from his vehicle. Taylor was then taken to Baptist Health by Mercy EMS. Traffic was reduced to one lane for approximately one hour eastbound on KY Dam Road.
Deputies say Taylor was cited to court for Driving on DUI Suspended License – 1st Offense.
