Crews battle Marion repair shop fire

MARION, IL (KFVS) -

Crews responded to the scene of an early morning fire at Hale's Automotive on E Main Street in Marion.

Earlier, roads were closed off near the scene and crews were working to put out hotspots.

Marion Fire Department is reporting there are no injuries at this time.

Officials are asking people to avoid the area.

The general manager says eight people are employed at the repair shop for trucks and vans.

Two Ameren vans were destroyed in the fire.

The state fire marshal is investigating.
