FAIRDEALING, MO (KFVS) - Two people are dead and two others hospitalized after an apparent murder-suicide Saturday night in Ripley County, Missouri.

It all happened at a home off of County Road 32.

According to Ripley County Sheriff Ron Barnett and the Missouri Highway Patrol, 23-year-old Colton Turner reportedly shot and killed one person then stabbed two others before killing himself.

According to Sheriff Barnett, the Colton's girlfriend wanted to leave a home she and Colton shared together. The girlfriend's family came over to help gather some of her belongings. According to the sheriff's Office, it was Turner's grandmother's home.

Sheriff Barnett says Colton reportedly killed his girlfriend's father, Dean McColley, Sr.

Colton also allegedly stabbed the girlfriend's brother, Dean McColley, Jr., 9 times and stabbed the girlfriend's mother, Sherry McColley, in the back one time.

"He had this big shy smile, he was a shy boy," said Merrilee Johnson, a neighbor. "And to this happened? He'd always give me a big smile and a big bear hug when he'd see me out, you know? I loved him like a relative, you know?"

One stabbing victim was sent to an area hospital, while the other was flown to Memphis, Tennessee for treatment.

Friends of the family say McColley, Jr. was listed in serious condition.

The incident is still under investigation.
