Southern Illinois continued its home dominance of Evansville on Wednesday, defeating the Purple Aces 65-56 for the Salukis 12th straight win against Evansville on their home floor.

SIU turned a one-point deficit into a 14 point lead after a 15-0 run in the second half. Jeff Early led the team with 14 points and 10 rebounds.

The Salukis forced 18 turnovers and limited Evansville to 41 percent shooting.

The win avenged an 18-point road loss to the Aces last month. SIU improves to 10-15 and 3-11 in the Missouri Valley Conference.
