JACKSON, MO (KFVS) -

Five people have been taken to the hospital with moderate injuries after a crash in Jackson Wednesday morning.

Jackson police say wet conditions contributed to the crash on East Jackson Blvd. on the east side of town.

Police say it happened around 10:15 a.m. when one vehicle slowed down.

Both vehicles involved in the crash left the road.
