NEVADA, Mo. (AP) - The estranged husband of a woman who was killed in 2009 is charged in her death.
Vernon County authorities say another man, a farmhand on the suspect's farm, also is charged in the July 2009 death of 47-year-old Belinda Jean Beisly, who was found dead in her home north of Deerfield.
Vernon County authorities say 57-year-old Bob T. Beisly II and 33-year-old Jeremy Maples were charged Saturday.
The Joplin Globe reports (http://bit.ly/12lKbSw ) the Beislys were in the midst of divorcing when she died.
Vernon County Sheriff Jason Mosher says new evidence led to Beisly's arrest on Friday and Maples' arrest on Saturday but he declined to elaborate.
Online court records do not indicate either man has an attorney.
