A three-year-old Paducah boy has died from injuries sustained an apparent accidental shooting.
Police say an autopsy has been completed on the child killed in an apparent accidental shooting late Saturday afternoon at his home on North 12th Street.
According to Paducah police, Braydion Scott Matlock died at about 8:30 p.m. Saturday at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. The child's mother's boyfriend, Nicholas D. Barbee, has been charged in connection with the death.
According to the Paducah Police Department, it happened on the 1500 block of North 12th Street in Paducah. When officers arrived, they say they found the boy lying on his back with a single gunshot wound.
The mother's boyfriend, 21-year-old Nicholas D. Barbee of Paducah, is now charged with second-degree manslaughter. Paducah detectives say after questioning Barbee admitted that he'd accidentally shot the child.
Barbee is currently being housed in the McCracken County Jail.
Rick Dickey, an assistant manager at the Chick-fil-A in Paducah, tells KFVS News that a portion of customers' bills will benefit the Matlock and Lopez families.
Dickey says just let the cashiers know that you want your ticket to go toward the families involved. This is from 5-8 p.m. Monday night.
Visitation for Braydion Scott Matlock will be Thursday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Heartland Worship Center in Paducah. The funeral service will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Heartland Worship Center in Paducah.

Paducah police are investigating the apparent accidental shooting of a 3-year-old child Saturday afternoon at a home in the 1500 block of North 12th Street in Paducah, Kentucky.
The child died Saturday night at a Nashville hospital. The mother's boyfriend is now behind bars facing second-degree manslaughter charges.
