CARBONDALE, IL (KFVS) -

The Salukis will be down a guard for the rest of the season.

According to SIU Head Coach Barry Hinson, sophomore guard Josh Swan will miss the rest of the season with a knee injury.

"My heart goes out to Josh, who has been playing terrific basketball for us as of late," said Hinson. "You see how the light had come on for him. He was making great strides, and we will certainly miss him."

Swan, from Atlanta, had started three-straight games prior to Tuesday's injury. He was averaging 10 points per game and shooting 51-percent from the field.
