Study: married people who drink equally are more likely to stay together

(KFVS) - A new study suggests married couples who drink equally are less likely to get a divorce.

The findings were that couples who drink the same amount of alcohol are more likely to stay together.

The study, out of Norway, suggests that when one person in the couple gets drunk regularly and the other person drinks less, the couple is more likely to not work out, says MSN Now.

Research also said divorce was more likely to occur when both people in a relationship drink heavily.

The highest divorce rates were found in couples where the woman drank more than the man.
