PARK HILLS, MO (KFVS) -

Police in Park Hills, Mo. are investigating a homicide that took place Sunday in the 900 block of Tyler Street.

Officials say a 49-year-old man was stabbed multiple times by his 26-year-old step-son who was living with him.

Justin Michael Kozik, 26, of Park Hills is charged with first degree murder and armed criminal action in the death of his stepfather.

When officers arrived at the scene just before 9 p.m. on Feb. 3, they heard a man yell "help me."

The voice told the officers to go to the back door.

Officers found Kozik and found the body of his stepfather lying against the front door with a knife sticking out of his back.

No word on a motive.
