The work week has started once again and it's another chilly day outside!

It was hard for me to get going this morning with it being so cold and early, but I'm here in the KFVS newsroom where we're working hard to bring you the latest stories this morning online and on the Breakfast Show!

Our top story online this morning is the abandoned house fire in Cairo, Ill. that spread to a second home causing serious damage Sunday night. The family in the second home was able to get out safely--find out how by following the link above.

You can also get the latest updates on the story of a Butler County man being captured after an alleged home invasion, shooting and assault this past Friday by following the link above. Heartland News has brought you this story on air and at kfvs12.com since it first broke and we continue to bring you the latest.

Of course the big national story this morning is the big game on Sunday night. Tune in at 5 as we tell you about the crazy aftermath of the game and the story that was almost bigger than the actual game.

Are you a Twitter user? Your account may have been compromised in a hacking scheme. Tune in at 5:30 to find out how you'll know if your account is in danger.

We'll have Heartland Health for you at 5:40 including what was responsible for more soldier deaths than combat last year and what impacts whether or not a person has asthma.

At 6, we'll be talking more about the big game in the Big Easy including the controversy over the show at half-time and what commercials were the favorites of the night.

Don't forget we're also streaming LIVE online at kfvs12.com every morning during the Breakfast Show. Join us from your computer or iPad!

I hope you have a wonderful Monday, friends. You can stay updated on the latest local and national news at kfvs12.com throughout the day.
