A Butler County man who had been running from the law was captured after an overnight police chase and car crash.

State police say two people were killed in a crash early Sunday morning in Hardin County, Illinois.

Crews were called to a house fire in Harrisburg, Illinois early Sunday morning. Missouri fire crews were called to a house fire just outside of the Jackson city limits Sunday afternoon.

A 25-year-old Iraq war veteran charged with murdering former Navy SEAL and "American Sniper" author Chris Kyle.
