A Farmington, Missouri boy who has been battling Leukemia in a St. Louis Hospital has been making progress, according to family members.
With the support from friends and family, Tyler is overcoming the odds against him and is becoming more responsive. The path is still long for Tyler and there is no estimation when he will be out of the hospital. But his family says he is fighting, and doing better.
According to Tyler's dad, Tyler said his first word in 32 days on Saturday night. Tim Davis says his son said ‘dad,' while holding his hand in the hospital room, and repeated it over and over.
Tim Davis wants to thank everyone for their support.
Tyler was the Gateway Chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Boy of the Year.
