SCOTT CITY, MO (KFVS) -

Scott City firefighters were called to a house at 103 Outer Rd. near Scott City around 9 a.m. Thursday, after a neighbor noticed smoke.

The fire was in the attic of the house.  

According to Scott City firefighters, the fire moderately damaged the home.

At the time of the fire the home was vacant, with utilities on, and for sale.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
