    A fire in Oran destroyed a 2-story house on Tuesday morning.      According to the Oran Fire Department, it happened at 4:05 a.m. at 907 highway W, which is right in the middle of town.     Firefighters
    No one was living in the home at the time of the time. Fire crews tell Heartland News that the family had just moved out.

KENNETT, MO (KFVS) -

A man faces marijuana charges in Kennett.

Tyrone Duckworth, 26, of Kennett, was issued a court summons for possession of marijuana.

On Tuesday, Kennett Police Officers say they saw a suspicious vehicle in the roadway in the 400 block of Madison Street.

Officers tried to talk to the car's owner at a nearby home. That's when police say they saw a man holding a bag of a green leafy substance believed to be marijuana.
