Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon outlined his budget and policy vision for the state in Missouri's State of the State Address as he begins a second term in office.

A Jackson man who pleaded guilty in a deadly stabbing in downtown Cape Girardeau was sentenced to four years behind bars today.
