
Southeast Missouri State women's basketball team lost its fourth-straight game Saturday night. The Redhawks lost to OVC opponent Eastern Illinois 82-62, unable to overcome two major Panther runs of 14-2 and 13-0.
Southeast's Patricia Mack scored 10 points and grabbed a team-leading eight rebounds. Bailie Roberts led the Redhawks in scoring with 14 points and had four rebounds of her own. Southeast was out-rebounded 51-31 and outscored in the paint 38-18.
Eastern Illinois' Ta'Kenya Nixon had 23 points and dished out eight assists. Mariah King added 19 points and lead the Panthers with eight rebounds.
The Redhawks are now 8-12 and 2-5 in OVC play. Southeast's next game is at SIU Edwardsville on Monday.
