SALINE COUNTY, IL (KFVS) -

An Eldorado, Ill. man has been sentenced to 10 years in prison after having pled guilty to unlawful participation in methamphetamine manufacturing.

Jonathon Fann, 30, also received two years of mandatory supervised release.

The investigation was led by the Saline County Sheriff's Department after getting a tip from a driver about a vehicle stopped on a roadway.

The driver of the vehicle said there were several bottles with tubing, foil and other items lying in the road next to the passenger door of the stopped vehicle.

Saline County deputies responded, investigated the scene and found an active meth lab.

Unlawful participation in meth manufacturing is a Class 1 felony.
