CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -
New sex charges have been filed against a Cleveland Police Officer already charged with rape.
A second woman has come forward against Gregory Jones. Her claim goes back to 2008.
Cuyahoga County Prosecutors have no indicted Jones on a total of 9 counts of rape, kidnapping and gross sexual imposition.
The first accuser came forward last summer saying Jones made unwanted sexual advances after she went to his home.
Prosecutors say the second woman came forward after seeing Jones on television in court on those charges. She claims Jones sexually assaulted her after giving her a ride.
Both cases happened while he was off-duty. But the new charges say Jones had a gun in the 2008 case.
He has been off the job, suspended without pay since the first claim. He has pled not guilty in that case and goes to court next month on the new case with a chance to start fighting those charges.
