Traffic stop leads to multiple charges in Owensboro, Ky

A traffic stop on Buckland Square in Owensboro, Ky. resulted in multiple charges for a Louisville man.

Kentucky State Police (KSP) conducted a traffic stop of a 2006 Volkswagon driven by Byron D. Weaver, 42, of Louisville, Ky. on Monday, Jan. 21 at 12:45 a.m.

After talking with Weaver, it was determined he had been drinking.

Police then searched the vehicle and found both marijuana and cocaine.

According to KSP, Weaver was taken to Daviess County Detention Center and was charged with numerous violations including DUI, possession of marijuana and possession of cocaine.
