One person was killed in a two vehicle collision involving a car and a tractor trailer on Route 149 in Royalton.
The wreck occurred Tuesday, January 15 at 2:30 a.m. at 3rd Street on Route 149.
A
Black 2004 Pontiac was traveling southwest when the vehicle ran into
a Orange 1996 Peterbuilt tractor pulling a White 1998 Great Dane Trailer
traveling northeast.
The impact caused both vehicles to burst into flames.
The
driver of the Pontiac was killed in the collision. Family notifications
are being made at this time for the driver of the Pontiac.
The driver of the tractor, Leslie N. Fred of Murphysboro, was not injured.
