Crews put out a car fire near Marston on Highway 61 Wednesday.

Officers say the driver of a car was headed south on Highway 61 when he noticed smoke coming from under the hood of his car.

Once he pulled over, the car caught fire.

Highway 61 was down to one lane as crews put the fire out.

No word yet on a cause.
