WHITESBURG, Ky. (AP) - A former eastern Kentucky high school basketball standout has been charged with sending nude photos of an underage girl electronically.
WKYT-TV (http://bit.ly/ZnE8zQ ) in Lexington reported 19-year-old Koree Stewart is under house arrest in Letcher County after being released from jail following his arrest on one count of distribution of a performance of a sex act by a minor.
The station said Stewart declined comment, but has pleaded not guilty.
The investigation began when a girl's parents called the County Attorney's office on Dec. 7 and complained about photos being circulated. Investigators said they found several inappropriate photos of minors when they checked Stewart's cellphone.
Investigators said more arrests are possible.
