49ers suspend former Saluki Jacobs for season

The San Francisco 49ers have suspended former SIU Saluki running back Brandon Jacobs for the final three games of the season after Jacobs went on a social media rant about his lack of playing time.

Jacobs took to twitter to show his disgust, saying he was "on this team rotting away."

The 30-year-old former New York Giant has just five carries in two games for the Niners.
