JEFFERSONVILLE, IN (WAVE) – Two suspects have been named in a fatal stabbing in Jeffersonville.
According to Det. Sgt. Todd Hollis with the Jeffersonville Police Department, around 4:30 a.m. Monday, Bob Eader, 55, was found stabbed to death in his apartment in the 300 block of Spring Street.
Police are now searching for a couple, James Washington, 35, and Dana Eisenback, 25.
Police said the couple stabbed Eader at least three times in the chest and slit his throat.
Washington is described as 5'10'' tall and weighing over 300 pounds. Eisenback is described as 5'7'' tall and weighing over 300 pounds.
The couple may be in a car described to be a 2002 4-door Mercury Sable, gold or silver in color, with a Missouri License plate numbered WG8 – Z9H.
Neighbors said they heard Eader calling for help. Police said the couple knew Eader for a few weeks, but are unclear about their relationship was and are investigating a motive.
Police said both Washington and Eisenback both have a criminal history and are to be considered dangerous.
