Small Business Saturday, 'J. R.' dies, Clear and cold

Shoppers took part in another American holiday today. Wedged between Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Small Business Saturday was launched in 2010 to focus on locally owned shops. Todd Tumminia talked with shoppers and shop owners today in Cape Girardeau.

President Barack Obama made a quick trip to a Virginia bookstore for some Christmas shopping.

A record 85 percent will offer special promotions on Cyber Monday, according to Shop.org's eHoliday survey.
