Veterans Day ceremonies, Deadly hunting accident, Rain moves in

Happy Veterans Day! From sea to shining sea, the nation paid tribute to its members of the armed services Sunday.

There were also tributes today in the Heartland.

The Missouri State Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield held a Veterans Day Program Sunday afternoon honoring our military. Todd Tumminia has more tonight on Heartland News.

Retired U.S. Navy Capt. Ed Phillips presented the keynote address at a Veterans Day ceremony on Sunday at Southern Illinois University Carbondale. Arnold Wyrick was there and has the details tonight at 9 and 10.

At Freedom Corner in Capaha Park in Cape Girardeau, there was a posting of the colors, a guest speaker, laying of the wreath, rifle salute and taps.
