MARION, IL (KFVS) -

There was early holiday shopping Sunday afternoon at this year's Christmas Crafts and Wine Fair in Marion.

Dozens of local vendors were on hand to offer shoppers a wide variety of gift items, and some tasty sweet creations to help fill those Christmas stockings.

Everything sold at the event has to be handmade.

"I get a lot of exposure," said Dianne Conover of Rosehill Creations. " I make quilts and teddy bears and purses, and all kinds of things out of recycled denim. I take your old blue jeans and make them into something that can be useful again."

"I prefer this kind of venue because its things that people have to make themselves and I'm a crafty person myself," said Carol Perry of Herrin. "So I like to see what other people come up with."

This is the fourth year for the Christmas Crafts and Wine Fair in the City of Marion pavilion.
