About half of the states have made the decision to expand Medicaid. Missouri lawmakers are currently debating the matter in Jefferson City. How will what legislators decide impact the state, and those currently living without health insurance?

MCCRACKEN COUNY, KY (KFVS) -

Police say a Texas man is behind bars after a hit and run in Marshall County and a police chase in McCracken County.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Department says it received several 911 complaints, of a reckless driver West bound on I-24, coming into McCracken County from Marshall County around 6 p.m. Monday.

The callers told operators that a gray BMW was all over the roadway and possibly intoxicated.

Paducah-McCracken 911 dispatchers stayed on the phone with the callers while deputies responded to the area.

Meantime, it was also reported that the gray BMW had left the scene of a crash in Marshall County, being investigated by Kentucky State Police.

According to a report, the BMW side swiped a semi truck, then left the area.

A deputy soon spotted the BMW at the 11 mile marker West bound and tried to pull the driver over.

The deputy says the car was weaving all over the road, and the driver refused to stop, at some points driving over 100 miles per hour to try to escape officers.

As the chase neared the Illinois State line, the driver of the BMW tried to drive around officers, lost control, spun and came to a stop.

That's when police were able to arrest the driver, 27 year old Jerry J. Page of Schertz, Texas.

Police say Page appeared to be extremely intoxicated.

Relatives of Page made contact with the Sheriff's Department, shortly after his arrest, stating that he had left a suicide note where he is staying in Clarksville, Tennessee.

Page is in the McCracken County Regional Jail facing the charges below:
