
This week we will celebrate Halloween in the Heartland. Wednesday will see children sent out into the night into areas where others, both children and adults, will be shielding their identity. We will send them knocking on strangers' doors asking for treats. It is tradition and it is fun but it can be dangerous if precautions are not taken. Let's make sure we do everything we can to keep Halloween fun and our children safe this year. Here are some things to keep in mind:
The safety and well being of our children should be a high priority every day, but especially during Halloween. Whether you have a Power Ranger or a Little Red Riding Hood out trick or treating, do everything you can to have a safe and happy Halloween.
