A Cape Girardeau man was killed in a car crash while fleeing from Cape Girardeau Police early this morning.

Honeywell and the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission reached an agreement on the necessary upgrades to the company's Metropolis nuclear conversion facility. More than 200 workers were laid off as a result of a July inspection in which Honeywell agreed to not restart production until an agreement was made.
