Teenage driver cited after rollover crash

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, KY (KFVS) -

Three teenagers were injured in a late morning rollover crash in McCracken County.

It happened shortly after 11:20 a.m. at 8445 Old Highway 60.

Deputies say Matthew Moss, 16, was driving eastbound in a Dodge Durango and lost control of the vehicle when he swerved to miss a box in the road.

The vehicle left the roadway, and according to deputies it overturned three times before coming to rest.

Deputies say two other 16-year-olds were in the vehicle, and one was ejected from the vehicle through a passenger side window.  She told officers she could not get the seatbelt to fasten properly.

All three teenagers were taken to area hospitals for treated for what appear to be non-life threatening injuries.

Moss was cited to court for no operators license.

Assisting on scene was Mercy Regional Ambulance service and the Concord Fire Department.
