2 killed in crash in Jefferson County

JEFFERSON COUNTY, IL (KFVS) -

Two people died in a crash on Route 15 in Jefferson County Saturday night.

It happened around 11:02 p.m.

A truck driving east on Route 15 lost control of the vehicle about 100 yards east of the airport entrance and rolled several times.

Jefferson County Coroner Eddie Joe Marks says Krysia Miller, 42, of Mt. Vernon was the driver of the truck and died in the crash.

Marks says Roger Rhule, 41, of Byrdstown, Tenn. was a passenger in the truck. He was not wearing a seatbelt and was thrown from the truck. Marks says Rhule died from head trauma.
