Sikeston DPS hosts meeting on drug investigation trends

SIKESTON, MO (KFVS) -

Sikeston DPS hosted a meeting Wednesday about the current trends in drug investigations.

Roughly 100 law officers from several counties in Southeast Missouri attended at least one of the two meetings conducted at the new Sikeston DPS building.

Retired SEMO Drug Task Force Director Kevin Glaser, instructed the training course and informed members of law enforcement about the latest trends.

He spoke of what drugs are in the hands of the people in the area and the effects and complications that come with using drugs.

Officers also learned safety and apprehension techniques.
