WEST FRANKFORT, IL (KFVS) -

Six people were arrested after West Frankfort police busted a cocaine and marijuana selling operation.

The West Frankfort Police Department received information that cocaine and marijuana were being sold from room #117 at the Gray Plaza Motel.

Police say that a male and female in the room would have drugs delivered when ordered.

Police conducted an undercover investigation and ordered cocaine. Less than 15 minutes later, a vehicle arrived in front of them.

Police say Delaynard C. Martin, Jr., 21, of Marion, Leonard Bowen Jr.,, 25, of Marion, Sarah N. Walker, 17, of Herrin, and Brittany D. Barton, 21, of Marion, delivered the cocaine and accepted payment for it.

Police stopped the vehicle around 10:50 p.m. and all occupants were arrested.

They found cocaine, marijuana and money on the suspects and in the car.

Officers also arrested Jackie L. Watts-Crage, 24, of Christopher, and Jeffrey D. Chism, 26, of Carbondale, who police say were inside room #117. Police searched Watts and Chism and the room and found marijuana packaged for sell, items used in the preparation of a controlled substance for selling and money.

All subjects were taken to the West Frankfort Police Department for processing and then to the Franklin County Jail. The vehicle was towed and is subject to seizure.
