Community wants answers from newspaper, man ejected off lawn trailer

A community is wanting to know why an article written by the editor ran in a local newspaper after a family submitted information about a local soldier's accomplishments. The girlfriend of a man accused of murdering a young couple from White County, Ill. has been arrested on an obstruction of justice charge.

One man was killed when he crashed his motorcycle into a school bus yesterday afternoon.

A Bismark, Mo. man was injured when he accidentally caused himself to be ejected from a moving lawn trailer. The driver is charged with felony assault, misdemeanor driving while intoxicated.

One man is in custody after he allegedly robbed a home and fled from police in Murphysboro, Ill. last night.

Four people were arrested Saturday night after Carbondale police received a call about a fight at the 400 block of West Mill Street.
