WHITE COUNTY, IL (KFVS) - The girlfriend of a man accused of murdering a young couple from White County, Ill. has been arrested.

Candice Brown, 30, is charged with obstruction of justice, according to authorities in White County.

She was arrested in Richland County. Her bond was set at $20,000. She paid $2,000 and bonded out.

Brown is the girlfriend of Danny Coston, 36, who faces several charges including five counts of first degree murder and one count of aggravated sexual assault in the deaths of Jessica Evans and Jacob Wheeler.

During Coston's preliminary hearing, White County Sheriff Doug Maier testified that Danny Coston confessed to killing Evans and Wheeler.

Maier says Coston asked Wheeler for a ride home, according to the sheriff.

The sheriff says Coston admitted killing Evans a short time later.

Wheeler and Evans had been fishing.

Coston's bond was set at $3 million.
