Man injured after flipping self from moving lawn trailer

BISMARK, MO -

A Bismark, Mo. man was injured when he accidentally caused himself to be ejected from a moving lawn trailer.

It happened just before 1 a.m. Tuesday, September 18.  

Travis Gregory, 41, was riding in a lawn trailer being pulled behind a motorized go-cart driven by Kyle Ives, 25, also of Bismark.

The vehicle and trailer were traveling on a private drive within the Lake Hanna Development.

Gregory flipped the dump lever on the lawn trailer, causing him to be ejected from the vehicle, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Gregory sustained serious injuries and was transported to Mineral Area Regional Medical Center for treatment.

Ives is charged with felony assault, misdemeanor driving while intoxicated.
