Family of injured soccer player speaks, Bystander helps save life

The parents and boyfriend of a Southeast soccer player injured in a scooter crash Sunday spoke to Crystal Britt today about her progress from a St. Louis hospital today. Meghan Herndon was badly injured when her scooter collided with a pick up truck.

A bystander is credited with helping to save a woman's life after a crash amputated her arm when her van rolled over and skid on its top yesterday in McCracken County, Ky.

An 11-year-old St. Louis County boy has been turned over to juvenile authorities after making a crude explosive device that caused a brief scare at a police station.  Police say the boy told them he learned how to make the bomb on the Internet.
