ACLU Attorney: Klan won't come to Cape Girardeau if ruling is against them

CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) -

The Ku Klux Klan takes its challenge to Cape Girardeau's leaflet ordinance to federal court next week.

A hearing date's set for next Monday, September 17 at the Limbaugh Courthouse in Cape Girardeau.

The KKK wants to spread its message in the city September 28, so it's challenging the litter ordinance that prohibits any group from leaving flyers on vehicles.

The ACLU attorney representing the Klan says, if the court rules against the challenge, the group will not come to Cape Girardeau that day.
