6 rifles stolen from American Legion building

CALVERT CITY, KY (KFVS) -

The Marshall County Sheriff's Office is looking for information after six rifles were stolen from the American Legion Post 236 building in Calvert City.

The burglary happened sometime Monday, Sept.. 10.

Six M1 Grand rifles with white straps had been stolen from a safe in an office. The straps are numbered 3-8. A yellow extension cord was also missing.

The safe was standing open and the locks had been cut off.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Marshall County Sheriff's Office at (270) 527-3112.
