Multi-vehicle crash sends Paducah woman to the hospital

MCCRACKEN COUNY, KY (KFVS) -

A two vehicle crash Sunday morning sent a Paducah woman to the hospital.

It happened shortly after 9:30 p.m. at the intersection of John L. Puryear Drive and the Interstate-24, 11 mile marker on-ramp.

Deputies say Donald Beckley Jr., 45, of Paducah, was driving a Ford F-150 and turned left across the westbound lanes of John L. Puryear Drive to turn onto the on-ramp.

Crash investigators say Beckley's truck then hit a Jeep driven westbound on John L. Puryear Drive by Jacquelyn Hancock, 60, of Paducah.

Officers say Beckley failed to yield the right-of-way to Hancock.

Hancock was taken to Western Baptist Hospital by Mercy EMS with unknown injuries.

Hancock's two passengers, ages 5 and 7, were not injured, according to the sheriff's office.
