Stuff a truck held to help Haiti

CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) -

The Real Hope For Haiti Stuff-a-Truck event was in Cape Girardeau Saturday collecting donations and baby products for the infants in Haiti.

They were able to collect enough to stuff two trucks and also raised a lot of money. That's in addition to other loads of product previously collected.

This will be shipped off to Haiti to help aid infants in distress.

After the earthquake, organizers say Haitians need any and all support they can get and volunteers in Cape Girardeau are helping to do their part.

Dozens of volunteers with the Real Hope For Haiti organization were out collecting Saturday morning and had a huge turnout of people donating.

If you missed the chance to donate Saturday, they have three other additional drop off locations in Cape Girardeau until the end of the month:

-Prudential Bridgeport at 109 S. Broadview

-Cape Medical Group at 150 S. Mt. Auburn Ste 342

-Concepts Styling Salon at 107 W. Drive Ste C.

Also overnight, a Tropical Storm hit Haiti which with any significant rainfall   cripples the area that much more.
