2 arrested after shake and bake meth lab found

OLMSTED, IL (KFVS) -

Two men were arrested in Pulaski County after a shake and bake meth lab was found in a vehicle.

Adam Windings of Villa Ridge and Keith Kelly of Olmsted are charged with production of methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine making materials.

Pulaski County Sheriff Randy Kern and his deputies were patrolling an area near Olmsted.

A vehicle was found parked near a cornfield in an area suspected to have been used by meth manufacturers.

Deputies detained Windings and Kelly for questioning. They found the vehicle registration on Windings car to be fraudulent. Windings arrested for improper registration.

Deputies found a shake and bake meth lab in the trunk of the vehicle.

Winding and Kelly were taken to the Tri-County Detention Center in Ullin. Their bond is set at $300,000 each.

Additional charges are pending.

A preliminary hearing has been set for Aug. 23 at 1 p.m.
