CARUTHERSVILLE, MO (KFVS) -

More than 100 riders came out to honor the memory of a Bootheel officer killed in the line of duty.

The second annual memorial ride for patrolman Evan Burns started at Caruthersville, at Buckaroos Bar and Frill Saturday, and then went down to Steele, Missouri.

All the money raised from Saturday's event will go into a trust fund for the officer's son.

Burns was killed last year when police say Deonta Williamson crashed a stolen SUV into his police car.
