Sandbar troubles, Fatal crash, House fires

The low water levels along some of the nation's big rivers are exposing seldom-seen sandbars.

But river experts are urging people to stay clear of what is often essentially quicksand. We'll take you out on the Mississippi River and show you some of the dangers.

A missing swimmer on the Mississippi River overnight prompts a quick response to what authorities feared would lead to disaster, but ended with two arrests.
